Hawthorn is also known as the whitethorn & the May tree. It is native to Ireland & its genus name Crataegus, from the Greek kratos, means strength.

in Celtic mythology it is one of the most sacred trees & symbolizes love & protection. Hawthorn is considered a fairy tree, it is believed to be extremely bad luck to cut one down - this limited stock of Hawthorn was gathered off the forest floor.

There are many beautiful burls & exotic woods available, they just don't have their own listings yet. Be sure to include your desired ring width & profile during the checkout process.

I offer rings between 3mm & 9mm wide, & all rings are comfort fit. Ring profile can be softly rounded, rounded, or flat.

Some of the smallest & largest ring sizes may not have all ring widths available. Keep in mind that wider rings fit more tightly! Titanium, surgical steel, & cobalt-chrome are ALL hypoallergenic.

Cobalt is best for scratches & is heaviest. Titanium is lightest.

Keep in mind that most metals are not scratch proof! The finish used is also waterproof, & is similar to a hardhat in hardness. My rings are tough, but avoid handling solvents while wearing.

If your ring gets scratched over time, ship it back & I will polish it up, I will always polish any resin scratches for free. Resin replacement is always free.

Resin can be polished at home with mineral oil or beeswax. These rings are made to order.

Your ring will look similar to, but not exactly like the ring pictured. Please get professionally sized at a jeweler before purchasing.
